Hey guys great site, bit empty though? Found you via Pixel2life!
I'm a beginner and I'm having trouble making a real circle, if you understand what I mean? I can only achieve the egg like shapes, silly me

yes we just started the site, that's why not that many people have discovered us yet, we're still tweaking up the bits and pieces.
Glad you like it and thank you for registering, it didn't take more then a couple of secs right? 
To your problem:
Every time you want to create an even sized shape such as circle or square, just hold the Shift key pressed while dragging the mouse. It's same when creating a selection with Rectangular or Elliptical Marque tool.
Try it, come back and report.
